Maple Lodge Farms recalling two types of chicken hot dogs
Maple Lodge Farms Ltd. is recalling two types of chicken frankfurters due to the potential presence of bone fragments in the product.
The recall affects Maple Lodge Farms Big Original Chicken Frankfurters and Zabiha Halal Big Original Chicken Frankfurters with an expiry date of August 27, 2017 and the following two UPC codes: 067714004205 and 067714004236.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is conducting an investigation which could lead to the recall of other products.
There has been one reported injury connected to the consumption of the products in question.
The CFIA says the recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were originally purchased.
