These are the Toronto LCBO locations where you can pick up free COVID-19 rapid tests

After the Ford Government announced a Holiday Blitz to provide antigen tests malls were filled with people trying to grab one. Brandon Rowe finds out how people feel the roll out went and gets reaction from the government.

The LCBO has announced its list of locations across Ontario where free COVID-19 rapid test kits can be picked up, including at 21 stores in Toronto.

The agency says the kits are limited in quantity and will be available on a “first-come, first-serve” basis at select locations.

The Crown corporation says the rollout of kits began on Thursday and will continue over the following 48 hours. However, several people have reported some locations have not received any kits at this time.

It adds that it could expand the list of stores “depending on future availability.”

The province announced the distribution of free testing kits on Wednesday as part of its holiday plan to distribute two million rapid tests in an effort to slow the spread of the Omicron COVID-19 variant.

Aside from LCBO stores, pop-up sites will hand out free testing kits in settings like libraries, malls, and transit stations.

The kits can be picked up at the following Toronto LCBO locations:
