Impaired driving charges after man, child hurt in Georgetown rollover

A 46-year-old man is facing impaired driving charges after he and a young child were injured in a rollover in Georgetown.

The rollover happened just before 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on Stewart MacLaren Road.

Halton police say the man and the child were pulled out of the vehicle and suffered minor injuries. Authorities wouldn’t say how the victims are related.

The driver, whose name hasn’t been released, is charged with impaired driving and having a blood alcohol level of more than 80 mg.
