1 dead after double stabbing at Stan Wadlow Park

One man is dead following a double stabbing in East York.
Police were called to the playground area of Stan Wadlow Park near Cosburn and Woodbine avenues just before 9 p.m. on Saturday night.
They say a confrontation between a group of men left two men with stab wounds, one of them was without vital signs as paramedics arrived on the scene.
Police say he later succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
The second victim’s injuries aren’t considered life-threatening.
Police say three people were taken into custody at the scene.
The homicide unit has now taken over the investigation.
