Woman’s body found in water in Port Credit
Peel police are investigating a suspicious death after the body of a 21-year-old woman was found in Lake Ontario late Saturday night.

Peel police say a 21-year-old woman has died after her body was found in Lake Ontario in Port Credit late Saturday night.
Offices say they received a call just before 11 p.m. from an individual indicating that a person known to him had gone in to Lake Ontario in the area of Stavebank and Lakeshore roads.
Emergency crews located a woman in the water without vital signs. She was taken to hospital where she was later pronounced dead due to her injuries.
Police have not yet identified the woman.
Investigators say they have spoken with the individual who made the call and he has provided information with regards to what happened.
