Guns And Ammo Found In Fairview Mall Locker

They’re meant to be a place for people to safely stash their bags and coats while they shop.
But that’s not what security guards found in one particular locker at Fairview Mall – and now they’re looking for the owners of a stash of guns and drugs left there.
Among the items guards found last Thursday: three handguns, a machine gun and ammunition. There were also drugs and disguises locked up for safekeeping at the Sheppard Ave. East and Don Mills Rd. shopping centre.
The lockers are opened and inspected every night after the mall closes as part of the guards’ duties.
After finding the illegal items mall security called police, and now it’s hoped that surveillance video may have caught the owner on camera.
