One person has died after a crash on the QEW.
Six people were sent to hospital after the Thursday collision.
It happened around 12:30am on August 27 in the eastbound lanes at Walkers Line in Burlington.
Police believe that the driver of a Pontiac Vibe merging onto the highway misjudged the on-ramp and crashed into an Oldsmobile Alero.
“Both vehicles rolled numerous times,” described Sgt. Dave Woodford of the OPP.
“One ended up on its roof. The driver of the Vibe was ejected from the vehicle.”
Ian Minielli, 33, died in hospital.
There were five people inside the Alero. Three have been released from hospital, but two of the passengers are still in hospital with very serious injuries.
Police are looking at alcohol and speed as factors.
If you saw anything, call the OPP at 905-681-2511.
