The mayor of Mississauga is facing a judicial probe.
Hazel McCallion is accused of conflict of interest in a land deal that involves her son.
Peter McCallion is the broker on a $14.4 million plan to buy downtown property that will be used for a hotel.
The deal was discussed during several different sessions at City Hall.
According to the Toronto Star, minutes from one council meeting showed that the mayor did declare a conflict-of-interest. That contradicts a video taken of the same meeting, in which McCallion does not make note of the conflict.
A judge is reviewing the allegations.
