Loonie Plummets More Than A Cent

The loonie plummeted more than a cent on Tuesday.
The Canadian dollar fell to 98.47 cents US just before noon as the American currency gained strength.
That’s a drop of nearly 1.5 cents from Monday’s close.
It happened after a major rating agency downgraded Greece’s debt to junk status.
