Another Toronto mayoral candidate clears the air

TORONTO, Ont. – The day after Rob Ford came clean on his dealings with the law, another front-runner in the race to be the next mayor of Toronto has followed suit.

Sarah Thomson revealed she was charged with assault more than 10 years ago by a disgruntled employee who was believed to have been stealing company property.

Thomson reportedly called the police after confronting the employee, who was arrested, but who then filed an assault charge against her. That charge against Thomson was eventually dropped.
