Online video game stars mayoral candidates

In a bid to attract younger voters, a media firm has created “Mayor Munch.”

It is an online video game and poll rolled into one and is the brainchild of One-Stop Media Group.

Players pick an animated version of one of the top five candidates and play the game by gobbling up ballots just like Pac Man.

Sarah Thomson and Rob ford are tied for first place.

Twenty-seven per cent of gamers have chosen their avatars.

Joe Pantalone’s character was third most popular.

The creators hope the game attracts young people who may not typically vote in municipal elections.
