Storm’s ‘A Brewin’

It’s a rainy finish to the work week.
Storms that started in southwestern Ontario came our way on Thursday, bringing with them thunder and lightning in some parts.
Yes indeed, it’s time to put away the sunscreen and pull out the umbrella, and perform whatever other preparations help you battle – or at least brave – the elements.
Thursday morning began with clouds and it didn’t take long for a heavy, persistent rain to start falling.
We didn’t see much of a dip in temperature, however, and the mercury held steady in the mid-teens.
With the rain lifting in the evening, a low of 10C was predicted. But the precipitation won’t stop completely – Environment Canada warns there’s a 40 per cent chance of showers overnight.
As for Friday, the national body is calling for cloud with sunny periods.
