Graco Recalls Two Million Strollers In U.S.

Versions of the Graco Quattro Tour and MetroLite strollers made before 2007 are affected.

The strangulations occurred between 2003 and 2005.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is monitoring the recall. It’s not known if the products were sold in Canada.

Graco warns that a baby that isn’t strapped in can slide through the opening between the stroller tray and the bottom of the seat, where the child can get stuck and be strangled.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled strollers and contact Graco for a free repair kit.: 1-877-828-4046 anytime, or visit www.gracobaby.com. Consumers can continue use of the stroller as a travel system. When the stroller is used with the infant car seat, the entrapment and strangulation hazards posed by the space gap are not present.

For additional information, consumers can contact Graco: 1-800-345-4109 between 8am to 5pm ET Monday through Friday
