Body Found In Markham Park

York Regional Police are investigating after a body was found in a Markham park on Tuesday.
Shortly before 12:30pm, a man was walking in a wooded area of Tomlinson Park, near 14th Avenue and Ninth Line, when he discovered the human remains and called police.
The Ontario Coroner’s office, homicide detectives and the forensic unit arrived at the scene a short time later.
Police have not yet released the age or gender of the body. An autopsy will be performed.
