TORONTO, Ont. – Transit City could be derailed.
The National Post reported mayor-elect Rob Ford has called a meeting at City Hall for Wednesday, at which time he is expected to tell the head of the TTC to stop building the light-rail network.
Ford campaigned against David Miller’s planned legacy, even though city council, the TTC, the province and Ottawa have all approved the light-rail project and $137 million has been spent.
