Sears issues safety warning for certain Craftsman air compressors

TORONTO, Ont. – Sears Canada has issued a safety warning which concerns certain Craftsman air compressors sold at Sears stores.
The compressor motor can overheat and pose a fire hazard.
The 15 gallon units were sold at Sears stores – both online and through the Sears catalogue – from September 2002 to June 2006.
Customers have been advised to stop using the machines immediately and contact the manufacturer, Devilbliss at 1-866-220-5627 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday for information about a free repair.
