Police identify body found in Caledon

The OPP has identified a body found in a ditch last Thursday in Caledon.
Kera Freeland – also known as Kera Gray – was last seen on Jan. 15 near Lake Shore Boulevard West and Royal York Road, and was reported missing at the end of last month.
Police say Freeland, 20, was originally from Alberta, but had been living in the Toronto area for the past few months.
A man out for a walk came across her remains beside Heart Lake Road, blocks from the spot Sonia Varaschin’s body was discovered in September. The murder of the 42-year-old Orangeville nurse is still unsolved.
Officers said they did not yet have any evidence linking the two cases.
