Maria Shriver files for divorce

Maria Shriver has filed for divorce from Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The pair had been married for 25 years, and have four children. Earlier this year, Schwarzenegger admitted he had a 10-year-old son with a woman who worked in their home.
The child was born before Schwarzenegger was first elected to public office in 2003. His second and final term as California’s governor ended in January, around the time the employee of 20 years retired.
He publicly confirmed he had a child out of wedlock shortly after leaving office.
Shriver is seeking joint custody of the couple’s two youngest children, who are still minors, and an unspecified amount of spousal support.
It’s not clear if they had a prenuptial agreement.
