17-year-old arrested and charged with second-degree murder

MISSISSAUGA – Peel police have made an arrest in connection with a stabbing death that happened on December 28, 2011.

Officers responded to a call in the Hurontario Street and Queensway area just before 7 p.m., last Wednesday.

Police found 19 year old Kevin Pham suffering from stab wounds. Pham later died in hospital.

On Saturday officers arrested a 17-year-old, who is now charged with second-degree murder.

Due to his age, his name cannot be released. Police have also issued a Canada-wide warrant for Elon Washington Brooks, 19.
