Canucks acquire Pahlsson from Jackets

The Vancouver Canucks have acquired Samuel Pahlsson from the Columbus Blue Jackets, who will get two fourth-round draft picks in the 2012 entry draft.
The veteran centre has two goals and 11 points with a minus-6 rating in 61 games this season.
Pahlsson, who was nominated for the Frank Selke trophy in 2006-07, played a critical defensive role on the third line during the Anaheim Ducks’ Stanley Cup victory in 2006-07.
He has played with the Boston Bruins, Anaheim Ducks, Chicago Blackhawks and the Blue Jackets during his career.
The 34-year-old won a gold medal with Team Sweden during the Torino Olympics in 2006.
Pahlsson, who signed a three-year deal with Columbus on July 1, 2009, has 66 goals, 127 assists and 344 penalty minutes in 779 career NHL games.
