Man jumps from 2nd-floor window during Caledon house fire

A house fire prompted a man to jump from a second-floor window at his Caledon home on Thursday morning.

Firefighters were called to the house on Chinguacousy Road, at King Street, around 4 a.m. The house was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived.

The man who jumped out of the window suffered minor injuries.

The damage to the house was extensive.
