Rob Ford hosts community environment day

Mayor Rob Ford hosted a community environment day in the west end on Saturday.
Ford and Coun. Frank Di Giorgio took part in the event at Amesbury Arena at 155 Culford Rd., near Lawrence Avenue West and Black Creek Drive.
Residents could drop off their electronic waste — like cell phones, fluorescent bulbs and propane tanks — and other hazardous household items.
Goodwill was also taking donations.
