Police seek suspect in streetcar stabbing

Toronto police have released security images of a suspect being sought after a man was stabbed on a TTC streetcar on Monday.
Police say the suspect became involved in an altercation with another man shortly after boarding the streetcar at Spadina Avenue and Richmond Street West just after 5 p.m.
“The altercation quickly escalated, and resulted in the man being stabbed in the back by the unknown male suspect,” police said in a release.
The suspect fled and was last seen running southbound on Spadina Avenue.
