Man severely beaten near Dundas and Sherbourne

A man in his 20s is in hospital with serious to life-threatening injuries after an assault in the city’s downtown core.

Emergency crews were called to 323 Dundas St. E., at Sherbourne Street, Thursday morning.

Police said the victim was severely beaten.

There has been no word on suspects.

The area has been taped off as police continue to investigate.
