Motorcyclist seriously injured in Etobicoke crash

A 19-year-old man has been rushed to a trauma centre after a crash in Etobicoke.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Eglinton Avenue West and Royal York Road around 9:15 a.m. on Friday.
It appears the motorcycle was going westbound on Eglinton when it collided with a Nissan Altima that was turning northbound from Eglinton.
Paramedics said the motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Nissan was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The intersection has been closed while police continue to investigate.
