Injured man walks into police station after shooting in Scarborough

A man has been rushed to hospital after walking into the 41 Division police station in Scarborough.
Police say the man was suffering from gunshot wounds when he arrived at the station at Birchmount Road and Eglinton Avenue East just after 9:15 p.m. The extent of his injuries are unknown.
Shortly after, officers responded to a sound of gunshots call nearby at Midland Avenue and Gilder Drive. Shell casings and property damage from gunshots were found on the scene.
At this point, police believe the two incidents are connected.
They continue to investigate and there is no word of any suspects at this time.
