Missing hiker in Crothers Woods died by drowning

The woman who died during a hike in Crothers Woods drowned, the coroner’s report says, according to Toronto police.
Stella Wong, 45, was on a walk with a male companion on the hiking trail south of Bayview and Moore avenues around 7 p.m. on Sunday when the two were separated and she went missing.
Her body was found the next day in the area of the trail.
Police say there was no foul play involved.
