Toronto police’s Missing Person Unit is asking for the public’s help to identify a man who was recovered from Lake Ontario back in 1988.
The Ontario pathologist’s office has created an artist’s rendition of what the man might look like in the hopes that someone recognizes him.
The remains were of a white man, aged 20 to 25 who stood five foot five inches. He had brown eyes, thick black hair, and dark eyebrows.
He had a round scar on his left knee and his left ear was pierced with a round ball stud earring in it.
The man was found wearing a blue or possibly beige “Westport” zippered jacket with a vinyl hood, a blue/grey/green plaid long sleeve shirt, a white t-shirt with a black collar and black sleeves with the word “Rush” in green on the front and blue jeans.
He was wearing black combat-style ankle boots and wearing a Bulova “Set-O-Matic” watch with a black nylon band.
A black lighter and a combination knife/bottle opener was also found on the victim.
Anyone with information that might lead to the man’s identification is asked to contact police.
