1 woman killed in multi-vehicle crash at Victoria Park and Finch

One woman has died after a multi-vehicle crash in Scarborough involving three vehicles.
Police were called to the area of Victoria Park and Finch avenues around 10:30 a.m. after one vehicle struck a pole and ended up in a ditch. Two other vehicles were severely damaged in the intersection.
One person had to be extricated from a vehicle.
A woman was pronounced dead at the scene. At least one other victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The intersection was closed for several hours due to investigation and clean-up before reopening late Saturday afternoon.
