Canada-U.S. border restrictions extended another 30 days

The ongoing restrictions at the Canada-U.S. border will be in place for another 30 days, until Sept. 21, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Bill Blair has announced.
We are extending the reciprocal restrictions at the Canada-US border for another 30 days, till Sept. 21, 2020. We will continue to do what’s necessary to keep our communities safe.

In a tweet on Friday, Blair said “We will continue to do what’s necessary to keep our communities safe.”
The border has been closed to all non-essential traffic since March 21.
