Toronto Police to take the Polar Plunge, virtually for 2021

Toronto police are taking the plunge.
Local officers are joining fellow law enforcement members from across the province for the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run 2021 Virtual Polar Plunge.
In light of COVID-19, this year the polar plunge has moved to a virtual platform and is happening all month-long.
Organizers are encouraging people to get involved.
You decide how and when you want to participate in the virtual polar plunge.
It can be anything for a dip in a swimming pool to a spray from a garden hose.
You are asked to take photos or video and share on social media using #plungeon to show how you’re supporting Special Olympics Ontario.
All funds raised will support programming and events for over 26-thousand athletes from across the province.
