Man transported to hospital after collision in Scarborough

A man in his 60s has been taken to hospital after a collision between a electric scooter and a vehicle in Scarborough.
Police were called to Lawrence Avenue East and Greenbrae Crescent after 1 p.m. Saturday.
The rider was conscious and breathing when emergency crews arrived on the scene. He was transported to a trauma centre in serious condition.
The eastbound lanes of Lawrence Avenue are closed in the area for an investigation.
