Halton Police say a man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly approached three teenaged girls at a playground in Georgetown and asked if they would perform a sexual act on him.
Investigators say on Monday just before 2:30 p.m. three 13-year-old girls were sitting at a playground at Centennial Public School in Georgetown when the man approached them and struck up a conversation.
Officers allege the man then learned the girls were in Grade 8 and left the area only to return a short time later. He then asked the three victims if they would perform a sexual act on him and when they refused, he allegedly exposed himself.
The three girls left the area and contacted police.
Investigators arrested and charged 29-year-old Judah Sonnylal of Georgetown with three counts of invitation to sexual touching and possession of a weapon after officers located a knife upon his arrest.
They say Sonnylal has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Police believe there may be additional victims and are urging anyone with information regarding this investigation, or who has experienced a similar incident, to contact Halton Police.
