Woman dies in hospital following collision of van with TTC bus

A 77-year-old woman has died in hospital after a van collided with a TTC bus Monday evening in the city’s north end.
Police were called to the collision at the intersection of Yonge Street and Finch Avenue just before 7 p.m.
A 76-year-old man was driving on westbound on Finch when the van struck the back of a TTC bus, also travelling westbound.
The driver, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and a female passenger were both taken to hospital. The woman later died of her injuries.
Four passengers on the bus suffered minor injuries and were also transported to hospital.
The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
