2 seriously injured in Flemingdon Park shooting

Two people are in hospital with serious injuries after a shooting overnight in Flemingdon Park.

Police were called to a backyard in the St. Dennis Drive and Don Mills Road area before midnight Tuesday after several people reported hearing multiple gunshots.

When officers arrived at the scene they found a woman suffering gunshot wounds. A short distance away the second victim, a man, was found.

Authorities do not believe the two victims knew each other.

The investigation is going and suspect details have not been released.
