Man, 36, killed in early morning shooting

A 36-year-old man is dead following an early morning shooting in the Eglinton West area of the city.
Police say they responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Keele Street and Eglinton Avenue West just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
When they arrived they discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds in an apartment unit.
Life-saving measures were performed but the victim was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released the victim’s name nor any suspect descriptions or the circumstances that may have led up to the shooting.
