Toronto police investigating after man spotted spraying unknown substance into dog bowl

Toronto police say they’re investigating after a man was seen spraying an unknown substance into a dog bowl at a storefront on Saturday.
Police tell CityNews it happened around 2 p.m. in the Queen Street East and Saulter Street area.
A video of the incident confirmed by Toronto police on Twitter shows a man walk past the dog water bowl and point at it. He walks out of the frame before returning seconds later.
He then appears to uncap a small bottle and spray something into the dog bowl before walking off.
The man is wearing black pants, a black hoodie, and a jacket with silver sleeves. He’s carrying a large red backpack and green bag.
The incident is being investigated by 55 Division.
