Two-year-old in stroller seriously hurt after being hit by car in Brampton

A two-year-old child has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Brampton.
Peel Regional Police were called to Avondale Boulevard and Autumn Boulevard, just off Bramalea, shortly before 6 p.m. on Wednesday for reports that a pedestrian was hit on a sidewalk.
The child was in a stroller at the time and has been transported to hospital. Paramedics tell CityNews the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. The gender was not provided.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police say.
Autumn Boulevard is now closed between Avondale and Anne Court.
