Toronto police say the 20-year-old son of Tien Ly, the woman who was found dead last Monday afternoon in a garbage bag in Leslieville, has been arrested and charged in connection to her murder.

Officers found Ly’s dismembered body in a plastic bag on March 28th, in the area of Eastern Avenue and Berkshire Avenue.

He will appear in court on Sunday, April 3.

Anyone who has information is asked to contact police.
