2 arrested after 3-vehicle crash involving police cruiser in Brampton

Peel police say two people are in custody after a crash involving a police cruiser and two other vehicles in Brampton.
Police were called to the scene at Sandalwood Parkway and Richvale Drive North around 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
Police said a vehicle collided with a police cruiser on a residential street and then another vehicle, before flipping over and crashing into the backyard of a nearby residence.
Two males in the vehicle that flipped over were taken to hospital, one with life-threatening injuries and the second with non-life-threatening injuries. Their ages are not yet known.
A man in the second vehicle was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The police officer in the cruiser was not injured.
In a tweet, police said there was an interaction between police and the two occupants of the vehicle that flipped over, but did not provide further details.
Roads in the area are closed while police investigate.
