Two suspects fled on foot after shooting 16-year-old boy in Mississauga: police

Peel Regional Police are seeking out witnesses with information on a shooting in Mississauga that has left a 16-year-old boy with serious injuries.

On Tuesday, investigators were called to a townhouse complex in the Creditview Road and Britannia Road West area around 3 p.m. for reports of shots fired.

One male victim, aged 16, was injured in the shooting. The boy was rushed to a hospital with injuries deemed severe.

On Thursday, Peel police said two suspects were seen fleeing the area on foot shortly after the shooting.

They were both described as male, Black, possibly in their 20s and were wearing dark clothing.

It’s unclear if this was a targeted shooting.

Anyone with information is encouraged to come forward and speak with investigators.
