Man seriously injured in Brampton shooting, woman in custody
A woman is in custody following an early morning shooting in Brampton.
Peel police say they were called to a residence on Baronwood Court in the area of Williams Parkway and Centre Street North around 3:44 a.m. Sunday. When they arrived they discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he is listed in serious but stable condition.

A woman was taken into custody at the scene and police say there is no further threat to public safety and they are not looking for any other suspects.
