Police release image of suspect wanted in assault of 11-year-old

Toronto police have released security camera photos of a man wanted in connection with an assault on an 11-year-old girl last weekend.

Investigators say the child was at the Walmart store in the area of Warden Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East on April 24 when a man approached her from behind and assaulted her.

The man then left the store in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as between 50 and 60 years old, tall with a slim build, short grey hair and a grey beard. He was last seen wearing a green puffy jacket.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
