Man sought for indecent acts in two Mississauga parks

By Lucas Casaletto

Peel Regional Police are searching for a man who allegedly committed indecent acts near pathways in two Mississauga parks.

Investigators say that between May 17 and May 27, between 1:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., two women claimed to witness a man performing indecent acts as they walked along pathways in the parks near Given Road and Maple Grove Avenue, and Mississauga Valley Boulevard and Central Parkway East.

Neither woman sustained physical injuries.

They described the man as Middle Eastern, standing approximately 5-foot-10 to six feet, around 170 pounds, with a skinny build and bushy eyebrows.

Police believe there could be more victims that witnessed the same individual around the area. Anyone who may have encountered the man fitting the description is asked to contact investigators.

Peel police issued some tips for people when out walking, including planning ahead and trusting your instincts, walking with a purpose and exuding an assertive image and avoiding isolated areas that are not well-lit.
