Heads-up parents: registration starts at 7 a.m. Tuesday for the City of Toronto’s summer recreation programs.

There are 114,500 spaces available in more than 6,500 registered courses that include arts, sports, swimming and fitness. The programs start the week of July 4.

“For the first time in two years, we are delighted to be able to offer a full and dynamic offering of summer programs for Torontonians of all ages and help create a healthy, fun and memorable summer,” Mayor John Tory said in a release.

The City says the easiest way to register is online, however, you can also do it over the phone at 416-396-7378, or in-person at the following locations from 7 a.m. until noon:

  • Centennial Recreation Centre, 1967 Ellesmere Rd.
  • Dennis R. Timbrell Resource Centre, 29 St. Dennis Dr.
  • Driftwood Community Recreation Centre, 4401 Jane St.
  • Masaryk-Cowan Community Recreation Centre, 220 Cowan Ave.
  • Wellesley Community Centre, 495 Sherbourne St.

Residents will need a family and client number to register. For those who don’t have one, they can set up a new account or access their existing information online or via phone. Click here for more information.

The call centre will be open Monday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. to help residents in advance of registration.

Registration started Monday for after-school recreation care and after-school programs for the 2022/2023 school year.

The City says spaces are also still available for CampTO programs, which will run weekly from July 4 to Sept. 2.
