Boy, 17, arrested in stabbing death of Auptin Abedini-Senoubari

A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with the stabbing death of Auptin Abedini-Senoubari earlier this month.

Police were called to a commercial plaza in the area of Dufferin Street and Finch Avenue West for reports of a stabbing on July 8.

It was reported that a large group of people attended a party at a nearby lounge, and around 12:30 a.m., an altercation broke out in a nearby parking lot and that’s when the victim 18-year-old Auptin Abedini-Senoubari of Richmond Hill, was stabbed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Saturday, police arrested a 17-year-old at a home in Vaughan and have charged him with second degree murder. Due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the name of the accused cannot be released.
