Peel Regional Police are searching for suspects after two people were shot and seriously injured at a music concert in Mississauga.

Just before midnight on July 31, officers responded to reports of gunfire at a concert in the area of Northwest Drive and Airway Drive, just off Airport Road.

Police located two victims with gunshot wounds. They were rushed to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators did not provide an update on their conditions.

There were over 800 attendees at the concert at the time of the shooting, police said.

Peel police responded to a shooting one week prior outside a nightclub in Mississauga. That shooting happened outside of an establishment in the area of Eglinton Avenue and Dixie Road just before 3 a.m. on July 24.

Three men were arrested, and no one was injured.
