It’s not everyday baseball fans attending a Toronto Blue Jays game at Rogers Centre can say they were rained on, but that’s what happened on Tuesday.
The roof was open for game time as the Blue Jays hosted the Chicago Cubs, but dark clouds quickly rolled into the city, and rain started to fall inside Rogers Centre.

Thankfully for fans, the rain didn’t last long. Everyone at the ballpark was instantly greeted by a beautiful orange sky that emanated from the heavens. It’s safe to say many used the opportunity to take a photo.
Rain is not expected in the forecast throughout the rest of the night, so attendees don’t need to worry.
It’s a special night at Rogers Centre as it marked the return of former Blue Jays starter Marcus Stroman, who pitched against the Canadian ball club for the first time since 2019.
Stroman, drafted by the Blue Jays in the first round back in 2012, played six seasons in Toronto before he was traded to the New York Mets in 2016. He signed with the Cubs as a free agent in December 2021.
