Guns and Gangs investigating after shots fired near Yonge and Lawrence

Toronto police are investigating after gunfire erupted near Yonge and Lawrence early Tuesday morning.

Officers were called to the scene just before 4 a.m. for the sounds of gunshots.

Upon arrival, officers say they found “evidence of gunshots” and at least 10 evidence markers were placed at the scene.

So far, no victims have been located and no injuries have been reported.

The Guns and Gangs Task Force has taken over the investigation.

At this point, no arrests have been made and police have not released any suspect information.
