A Toronto physiotherapist is facing multiple charges after police officers allege a 14-year-old girl was “repeatedly” sexually assaulted during treatments.
According to a statement issued by the Toronto Police Service Wednesday afternoon, the accused worked at Endeavour Sports Performance and Rehabilitation on Bayview Avenue.
Between March 2021 and March 2022, officers said the suspect treated the teen and alleged the sexual assaults occurred during that time.
The statement said the Child and Youth Advocacy Centre began investigating earlier in December.
On Dec. 21, officers said 34-year-old Daniel Pringle was arrested and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.
They said Pringle will appear in a Toronto court on Feb. 21. The allegations haven’t been proven in court.
